2. Evaluation Treatment

Visit Our Facilities For An Evaluation Treatment

If you are local to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, you can come in to any of our facilities and work with a Neuro-Therapy practitioner to go through an evaluation treatment.

The session includes these steps:

  1. Observing movement patterns, understanding movement compensation and the history of the issue.
  2. Testing the integrity of some crucial support structures to ensure the capacity for the body to absorb force.
  3. Performing a Neurological Search protocol to determine the neurological origins of the physical symptoms.
  4. Performing a Neurological Re-Education session to create the opportunity for rapid and profound changes in neuromuscular behavior and recruitment.
  5. Re-assess and compare how the pain/compensation/dysfunction have changed and establish a plan for lasting success.
3. Therapy Process

Progress towards your goals In 3 Steps

Phase One

Locate and Re-Educate

To begin your recovery, we find the neurological deficits and retrain the communication to and from your "inhibited" areas. This allows your nervous system to tolerate stress without resorting to unproductive guarding movement patterns.

Phase Two

Rehabilitative Strength

Once your neurological communication has demonstrated improvement, we work to re-establish proper biomechanical patterns and build strength within these patterns through a full range of motion. Essentially, re-training the brain-muscle connection in fundamental human movements and positions.

Phase Three

Resilience Training

Now that your capacity to use the right muscles for the right jobs has been established and reinforced, further strength, conditioning and awareness are needed to resume the less predictable and more challenging activities in life. This phase is oriented at restoring your capacity to “push yourself” safely and productively again!

When I started rehab therapy with Tyler, I had been in pain for 7 years from a horse related accident. The pain was in my low right back and hip area I had tried every type of physical therapy, injections, acupuncture, dry needling with electrodes, Pilates for 2 1/2 years4-5 days a week, massages, hot stone massages with cupping. One day while having a hot stone massage in a gym that had other venues inside, I discovered this EVO Performance Rehab center. Asked questions, made an appointment with Typer, and never looked back! It was truly amazing what he can help one accomplish. I did 20 sessions. It is amazing how much I learned about the body. One has to be ready to put in the work. Tyler is an awesome coach. Before I went to EVO Performance Rehab, I was in a dark depressive state. Nothing had worked prior, so I was skeptical. I had nothing to lose, so I tried as hard as I could. I have made a lot of improvement, mentantly, and physically. I am still doing the stretching etc. that I learned.

Evo has been life changing for me. Tyler is outstanding , and one of the my knowledgeable people I have ever met, with regard to the human body. I was struggling with chronic lower back pain for nearly a year before I finally got fed up and said there has to be something more I can do. A simple Google search brought me to Evo. After the first session I was feeling relief in my lower back. Tyler was able to use his knowledge and equipment to determine the cause of the pain which was actually various muscles in my legs. I’ve been on a multiple week path to recovery and have been able to return to all “normal” facets of life that caused me pain previously.
